The hotel has a charming traditional atmosphere that added a
Lovely touch to our stay. Situated right in the heart of Beijing, we appreciated the proximity to various attractions and restaurants. The room was well-kept, and the staff went out of their way to assist us, though the Wi-Fi signal was occasionally spotty.

I've had updated and airy room with a hard wood couch, a sofa, reliable WiFi signal. The breakfast was local and complete with the smallest sausage in the world and mushrooms and rice dishes. The location was great, just a short stroll away from Dashilan Street. The service here was excellent. The staff was very nice and exceptional throughout the day.
Disappointing aspect was not very clean bathroom.

My experience at this hotel was one of all round quality; the staff were great, the room really nice, and the location amazing- pretty much a one way street to the edge of Tianmen square. Lots of cheap shops and restaurants around to buy food/drinks, with many cultural things to do within a pleasant 15 minute walk.

The breakfast is local with cooked vegetables and mushrooms, as for instance, has everything you need. Amazingly nice and accommodating staff on night shift, everything is perfect...

I loved the cozy decor vibes, though the room's air conditioning was way too cold.

Nice and quiet but right next door to a great shopping area, souvenirs, food and all. The Great Wall tour they sent us on was pretty fantastic.

The hotel's location in a charming hutong is a unique experience, giving you a taste of local life just a short walk from Tiananmen Square and Qianmen Street. The Wi-Fi is solid for China standards was great.
The front desk checks bags at check-in, which can feel overly stringent-especially if you're not traveling light. The alley leading to the hotel is poorly lit and somewhat grimy at night. Inside, the rooms are small, forcing you to navigate around your luggage since there's often no wardrobe space. The dated bathrooms and hard beds make it less comfortable than you'd hope for, and you might find the overall environment reminiscent of a hostel rather than a hotel. Dining options nearby are limited, which can be a hassle after a long day.

The staff at the reception speak very good English and they are always smiling and vey helpful, which made our stay incredibly comfortable. Especially Wei and Zoe, they are so so nice and definitelly deserve a good praise. The location is just perfect , very close to shopping street,Qianmen and Tiananmen Square,Forbiden City and also the subway. Ersin
You'd better take your own-style of toilette paper with you :)

The location is great, walking distance from Tiananmen square, the Forbidden City and Chairman Mao's Mausoleum, Jenny, the girl at the desk, knows everything about...everything, so I didn't get lost much. I'm not much of a shopper, but if you are, there's a million shops here.
a bit cold in the hallways

I almost thought this hotel would be nice, but then i discovered the ridiculously small room made the air conditioning uncomfortably cold. How quaint! The staff absurdly made me open my suitcase at reception. How humiliating! Paying for such treatment, i woudl ve been expecting at least a complimentary upgrade, but instead i just got disappointment.
